Marcus Rashford is not at his best this season and has been the subject of negative headlines in the press. United are also struggling in the Premier League and must fight to qualify for the UEFA Champions League, as they are eight points off the top four.

"Every time I walk onto the pitch and hear the fans chant my name, or watch Old Trafford before kick-off, I feel that same positive energy.

Rashford has been the subject of criticism in the media, while a small section of fans of Manchester United maillot 2024 questioned his performance. But the England international said his commitment to the club could not be questioned.

"I can take any criticism," he said. "I can accept any headline. From podcasts, social media and newspapers. I can accept it. But if you start questioning my commitment to this club, my love for soccer and my family, I just ask you to show a little more humanity."

Rashford feels that the team at manager Erik ten Hag's disposal hasn't exploited its potential, and the 26-year-old will use any negativity as fuel.
"To be honest, part of me doesn't mind people doubting me," said Rashford. "There's no reason not to worry about how things are going, but there are reasons to worry.

"I promise you that the world has not yet seen the best of this team and these players. We want to come back and play in the Champions League, and then we'll have a big international tournament at the end of the season. We'll be back where we need to be. We just have to keep working, and that starts with me.

"If you support me, that's good. If you doubt me, that's even better.
